Brenlyn – Glyn Bennett

A narrow gauge layout depicting typical short trains usually made up of mixed stock obtained from other railways.

The trains run through a small Welsh village set within hills & valleys. Rolling stock, locomotives & road vehicles are a mixture of kit built & ready-to-run.

Station buildings, goods shed, engine shed, cottages & outbuildings are scratchbuilt and fitted with lights and internal detail.

Cliffs and rocks are constructed from waste polystyrene packaging faced with coarse paper towel soaked with a mix of poster paint, pva glue and polyfilla.

Trees are a framework made from a garden plant called hebe to which layers of sea foam are added after being coated in Woodland Scenics scatter material.
